Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken outside in my garden.

Time

It was nearly lunchtime but because I was under our pergola the light wasn't harsh.

Lighting

All natural lighting which I love but filtered being under the shelter.

Equipment

Here I used my Nikon D7200 with a Tamron 90mm macro lens

Inspiration

I love detail and saw the opportunity to capture the beautiful freckles and eyelashes.

Editing

I adjusted the brightness of the image slightly but the rest of the image was untouched.

In my camera bag

I have a few lenses in my bag. My wide angle for landscape shots, my trusty 24-70mm and 70-200mm. Also my favourite 90mm macro

Feedback

It's all in the detail. Its not always necessary to capture an image straight on. Looking down on a child with your camera can increase the look of innocence
