At the Spanish Riding School in Vienna one of the best treats the Lippizaner stallions are given is the sugar cubes. They are used as rewards during handeling of the horses and as general treats from the trainers and staff. They absolutely love it!
After given a sugar cube, the horses often lick the wooden doors to make the taste last longer. Or in this case, they chose to lick eachother :)
