Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo outside next the fence that borders my driveway.

Time

This was in the morning with the morning glories blooming, before the kids went to school

Lighting

This was natural, outdoor light in the morning before school

Equipment

I used my cell phone camera to snap this shot.

Inspiration

This was a first day of school photo that I take of my children each year.

Editing

I did not do any post processing of this photo.

In my camera bag

When I'm just snapping shots on the fly, I have my cell phone. I purchase new cell phones mostly based on their camera specs. I live photos and have to have a handy, on the go camera. Right now I have a Google Pixel 3 XL. When I'm taking more posed or family shots I have my Cannon with two lenses, memory cards, and full battery pack.

Feedback

Make sure you have good, natural light in a space where your subjects aren't blinded by the sun.
