Behind The Lens

Location

On our trip home to Myrtle Creek Oregon from Newport Oregon.

Time

It was close to evening on an icy road we were anxious to get home before the road would ice over.

Lighting

The sunset was amazing on these hills.

Equipment

I took this with my old and dying EOS Rebel XS EOS 1000D

Inspiration

The incredible beauty of Oregon. The hills are amazing every season but this was different. We were driving on an icy road and needed to get home before dark and my husband did not want to stop. At this point he needed to use the restroom at this spot and I got it!!! It didn't take long and back to I-5 before dark.

Editing

I use Lightroom 5.7 and Adobe Photoshop 12 and developed it the way I saw it!

In my camera bag

I used my EOS Rebel XS EOS 1000D with EFS 18-55 mm lens; In my bag was my Tamron 4F 200-500mm F/5-6.3 lens

Feedback

You get out into the fresh air with your camera and never know what simple spot would be so beautiful.
