In february 2017 I went to the mountains of central Sardinia, 1400m, I took this panoramic with the Moon halo with the conjunction between the moon, Mars and Venus. On the left there is the Orion constellation with clearly visible Rigel and Betelgeuse. The moon was setting and there was the 22° circular lunar halo, clouds can contain millions of hexagonal ice crystals, and as light from the moon - which is just reflected sunlight - passes through the atmosphere, it refracts in a particular way within the crystals, the light refracts at angles no smaller than 22°.
