My dad had a full esophagectomy a few days before Valentines Day 2014 at UPMC. This is my favorite. Valentines Day picture from that year.
The procedure was hard, but we gained 2 more years with him and he was able to take my son to Italy 4 months later.
We lost dad in Feb 2016 -they were married for 53 years
