I served overseas in Uganda, Africa with my parents for the year of 2016. While we were there, a two year old named Pinto, the boy above, completely stole every part of hearts. His caretaker, who is raising four other children apart from her two biological, struggle to provide the bare necessities for them. Despite the odds, this little boy, who knows nothing more than the life lives, adores every moment, especially the ones filled with chocolaty mess of my older brothers homemade cupcakes.
