Haemorrhoid: Also known as piles, is the swelling of blood vessels caused by hard stools or due to straining during bowel movements. Unfortunately, I am suffering from this and have already changed my diet 2 months ago. I was pretty shock the first time I encountered it. It is abnormal for a young person to get this and I was extremely worried that it may be colon cancer. Visited the doctor for physical examination and was confirmed that there is piles. I was told a completely different thing from what I read online.
The doctor said that changing diet doesn't help and surgery does not mean a permanent recovery, then the polyclinic referred me to Tan Tock Seng later this month for further check-up.
