I've been wanting to shoot this hotel for a while now. Every time I looked at as I drove or walked by I just couldn't see an angle or sense of what I wanted out of an image. The weather was making a big shift and western Montana was due for a heavy snow. But it wasn't supposed to slow or basically stall over the valley and hit us quite so hard. I figured now, maybe I saw a shot. Thinking it would calm, but heavy fresh snow on the ground by late afternoon I planned my shoot. The image doesn't show it, but its blowing pretty good from the east and still coming down........
