One of my favorite trips that has now become an annual event, is going to the coast for elephant seal mating season. It is an adventure all its own. You really never know what you will see with wildlife, and usually are happy when you get a few special shots from a day. The experience is the real fun of it.

These two young elephant seals were off on their, avoiding the chaos on the main beach. I think they had it right. Much better than risking being trampled by a 2,000+ pound bull elephant seal.
