Welcome to View Bug. There is so much to say about this photo. Number one very nice subject. It is very difficult to photograph an object coming towards you at speed. Good shutter speed no motion blur. Wide open Aperture. Its not backlit. All good things here. Looks as if you were not using Continuous Auto Focus or your Focus point was not on the eyes. I like filling the Frame with the Wings Tip to tip but the tips are missing. I am not so bothered by the Wing tips although that would have helped the shot a lot it is the Focus.
