It's hard to describe the feelings you get, you really have to visit for yourself. I don't know who left the roses but the pain is still real for so many people, millions of lives pointlessly lost. Never forget.

I am sure the feelings are overwhelming with grief to visit this horrible concentration camp. What an emotional capture and reminder this is of the many who lost their lives in the Holocaust. I like the angle and POV of this photograph; it says a lot. I met a Holocaust survivor, Barry Spanjaard, who lectured at my high school. He was a teenager when he and his parents were held in captivity. Mr. Spanjaard wrote a book called, "Don't Fence Me In." It is a very moving read. Thank you for uploading this photograph as it is a good reminder for everyone to remember all those who lost their lives in the concentration camps during the Holocaust.
