Got this photo at the end of my sunrise shoot in the Boston Public Garden as I was walking to my car and got giddy the moment I saw it. The sun was just starting to rise above the horizon and lit up the buildings in the background as well as some of the leaves on the trees. I think it is my best photo yet!

Location
I took this image in Boston's Public Garden. According to their website "the Public Garden was the first public botanical garden in America." This image was captured during one of many visits to the Garden over the years.Time
It was just after sunrise in early fall.Lighting
I really liked how everything was glowing, that the sun had not reached above the trees yet.Equipment
Nikon d5100, Nikon 17-55 and a cheap tripod I no longer have.Inspiration
I actually went to photograph another area of the Garden before sunrise and was walking to my car when I saw this. To say I was excited was an understatement.Editing
Yes, I brought up the exposure and the shadows, made sure the image was level, balanced the color and added a touch of vibrancy. In my camera bag
My current gear includes a Nikon D500, three legged thing tripod, Nikon 17-55 2.8, Tamron 24-70 and a Nikon 70-300.Feedback
Keep looking for things to photograph even as you pack up. Don't be afraid to go back to your favorite locations even if you have photographed it a million times. There is always something different, based on season, sky and time of day.
