Lindis Pass is sandwiched between the Otago towns of Omarama and Cromwell on the New Zealand South Island.
The flowers pictured by the Ahuriri River are called lupins and come in a variety of vibrant colours (pink, purple, white, yellow). They are now in full bloom and are widely seen scattered around central areas of the New Zealand South Island.
