Location
A favorite spot amongst Southern Michigan wildlife photographers is Kensington Metro Park.Time
I woke up early to drive the 1 1/2 hours to Kensington Metro Park for a day of shooting. That particular morning there was a slight frost and quite a bit of activity from all the wild life. People frequently sit on these benches, arms outstretched, palms up with bird seed or nuts and the birds will land in their palms and scoop up the morsels. No one was around but this Red Bellied Woodpecker was begging for some treats. I was fortunate enough to capture this image just before he landed.Lighting
