I have known this lovely bird since he first came to my garden as a juvenile some years ago. Now a full plumaged adult male he spends many hour with me.
He has learned not to dash about as he did when young but to sit still and watch for the prey to come to him. Here he is watching for mice on the ground below the bird feeder where a family has taken up residence below the roots of a tree. He usually gets his dinner.
