"Unexpected"


On the drive out of the valley, I quickly pulled over when I saw what the Bay Area folks call a LFE (Low Fog Event). Usually all the photogs flock to the marin headlands to see the fog enter into SF. I've never seen this from Yosemite myself ( I imagine it would require to go much higher in elevation to see a lot of the low fog that hovers the valley). It was a nice sight to see as the setting sun light up the low clouds and trees. Ironically the light on the dead trees was quite nice, like larches but unfortunately there are a lot of dead trees in the park.
