Less than a half mile from my home is this little tunnel running under some railroad tracks. Legend has it a woman was fleeing her abusive husband with her new baby when a train came. Slipping on the slick tracks, the lady dropped her baby and watched helplessly as she was hit by the train. Supposedly at night, if you drive into the other side of the tunnel (there are two side by side), and turn your car off, you can hear the baby cry and the woman weep.
