I'm fascinated by this image and how you made it. I see that you used a 3.5 aperture for shallow depth-of-field and focused on the stumps at the bottom ("front"); apparently you used a wide-angle lens as well, but their is no "fish-eye" effect on the trees - how did you compensate for that? And even the closest tree trunk show blur vertically, but not horizontally.
Regardless - a great great composition!
