Thunderstorms are not uncommon in the Oklahoma area and at times these storms bring Tornados' with them. When I heard that we were expecting some Thunderstorms I grabbed my tripod and made my way out of the city. I found this tree in the middle of a field and the storm was on its way. For me, once I get started taking pictures there are only a couple things that can make me stop, losing light or inclement weather. In the case of this photo I was about a half mile away from my car when the temperature dropped about 20 degrees in five minutes. I understood this dramatic change in temperature as sign from God that it was time to go. By the time I made it back to my car it was pouring rain and the tornado sirens were going off.
