In spring 2013 I met a guy from Gambia who moved to Libya for work. Then the war ... the story of the crossing ... the arrival in Italy ... the illusion of "having made it" ... but someone always miss the call. The impulse to give voice to the victims led me to recount the experience of my friend; he taught me that the shadow of destiny is generated by the light of courage. Armed with a balloon, a paper boat, searching for the "right" puddle of water, the radio announced the provisional estimate of the victims of the last sinking: 231.
