Driven by desire to express myself through Pop Art in a fleeting, playful, sexy, young and popular way, I had fun contextualizing in this work one of the greatest album in music history “the Velvet Underground & Nico - Cover by Andy Warhol” (a great example of combination between art and music). By putting together two of my strongest passion, music and photography, I choose to choking the banana with the aim to getting a smile out of the public as a revolutionary act in a moment of crisis.

Note: "MUSIC, ART & PLAGIARISM" is a tribute to the album "THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO" cover art by Andy Warhol, produced by the same Andy Warhol. My work is mainly concentrated in the image of the "banana" that is different from the original: while in the work of Andy Warhol the subject is a sticker that, if raised, shows the nakedness of a pink banana as a sign of social freedom, in my work the banana is "choked", prisoner of a society in crisis short of contents.
