Ft. Benning, Georgia is home to the National Infantry Museum. It is both a wonderful site for history and a sobering remembrance of the sacrifices our men and women in the military have made to secure our freedom. My family visited this museum while at Ft. Benning to watch our son graduate and become one of those brave soldiers with the United States Army, Infantry. Less than 1% of the citizens of our great nation are willing to defend our freedoms through military service. I am proud my son stood tall and has the courage to do so. Even if he gets out of the Army, I will always be proud to say I am an Army Mom and an Army Vet.
