Behind The Lens

Location

This is a one of my favourite locations in my home country of scotland. A place where I spend countless hours all year long while fishing and ofcourse taking photos.

Time

This photo was captured around 9PM during the summer months just as the sun was coming down to set.

Lighting

When your going for a landscape image like this patience is vital waiting till the light is perfect for what you want to capture.

Equipment

I'm sure this image was actually captured on my mobile phone at the time as I was out fishing and the sky just turned so beautiful.

Inspiration

The sky, boats, sea, piers everything just fell together to create this beautiful scene .

Editing

No post process was done this is as it was straight out of the camera.

In my camera bag

Normally I have my canon 250d, canon 50mm 1.8, sigma 70 - 300 dg macro f4.5 -6, sigma 17 - 50 f2.8, Nd and cpl filters, tripod and 3 godox tt350 c flashes with x1t

Feedback

Set up and wait till you see what you want snap some images while you wait to get the perfect settings then when the time comes capture that image but most importantly have fun and enjoy the outdoors while you can. It's something I have realised during the covid 19 outbreak how much I took mature for granted.
