Slow, magnificent, beautiful. These creatures live to ripe old ages. In 2006 Harriet, an Aldabra Tortoise aged approximately 176 years old died at Australia Zoo. She was thought to be one of the tortoises collected by Charles Darwin from the Galapagos Islands.
