Action a plenty as the 2016 Rolex Sydney to Hobart yacht fleet exit Sydney harbour and turn for Tasmania. Crew on Cloudy Bay Beau Geste preparing to set a spinnaker.
I was on another boat and rather like this odd photo due to the very low angle of the shot and the wave action at the bow of the boat. Photography was difficult as the start of the race is middle of a summers day, hot, sunny, sea breeze haze and a very mobile base on which I was sitting. Great fun though!
