The "pugilatore delle terme" is a bronze sculpture attributed to the greek sculptor Lysippos.
Is defined also "at rest" because of its relaxed position probably after a match that has earned him several wounds on the body, especially on the face. The sculptor had great anatomical knowledge to the perfection with which he recreated this athlete. Its a masterpiece of Greek art, and definitely my favorite statue.
