Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken at the Lanyang Building in Yilan County, Taiwan. The interior of the atrium really struck me with the clean lines and a predominately glass roof.Time
The photo was taken mid-afternoon on an overcast day.Lighting
I am still a new photographer so have a basic setup and haven’t really taught myself much about lighting. I’m more of a point-and-shoot and see how it works out guy!Equipment
I used a Nikon DSLR with a mid-zoom lens (this is how much of a starter I am). No tripod or flash.Inspiration
Over the years I’ve become increasingly fascinated with architecture. The juxtaposition in this building really struck me.Editing
I took the photo in black and white so only had to lighten the photo marginally. In my camera bag
Normally just the camera and a lens. I don’t like needing to change lenses and feel this brings a bit more freeform to shooting because you have to work with what you’ve got on you.Feedback
Just give shots a try and see how it works out!
