This is a single west to east run by one of the two Dutch F-35A's as it exits Star Wars Canyon in Death Valley National Park out into Panamint Valley. A composite of 8 shots I took with the aim of trying this technique out for the first time. Shooting the jets close up was brilliant but I also like to take a step back with the camera and get the jets in the context of the environment they are in. So in this instance, you can see the other photographers in our group at the end of the ridge as we were doing shots for the pilots and the Dutch Air Force early in December 2016.
