Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the road between Murren and Gimmelwald in Switzerland. There is a corner in the track where one can look down on the village of Gimmelwald and I took a photo every time we walked that way.

Time

Probably early in the morning after a heavy snowfall over night.

Lighting

No, I was just drawn to the scene with snow on the fence.

Equipment

Just my trusty little Panasonic Lumix TZ 40. On a point and shoot setting.

Inspiration

The snow and the magnificent scenery in this part of Switzerland.

Editing

Just a little adjustment of the highlights and shadows and some sharpening in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

My Canon 550d with its 18 - 200 lens and my tiny, but trusty Panasonic Lumix.

Feedback

I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time as I did not do anything special to capture this photo.
