Lamont approached me and another photographer as we were putting our kit away for the evening. He said he was down on his luck and wanted to know if we had any spare cash. I only had three dollars on me after having paid for parking. I told him I would not give him anything, but he could let me take his portrait for $3.00. He agreed to one shot. This was it.
