Popped out of the front door of our arctic cabin to see if the northern lights were out. The sky was green in the distance but those 'spotlights' are actually due to the fact it was so cold, all the moisture in the air had frozen, making it seem like the air was full of glitter and the street lights below were sending beams of light into the sky. Like a laser beam in fog.
An hour later Mother Nature turned the light show up to 11!
