This one of my favorite photos of our beloved Mina-a Spanish Greyhound (Galgo Espanol)-rescued from the streets of Madrid, adopted by my husband in Germany & then brought to Cape Town in 2015. I was recovering from an operation & she sat opposite me most days-keeping me company. On this day, she was in full protection mode-she heard a delivery man outside & was at full attention. She sat like that many a time but this is the time that she stole my heart! And scared the delivery guy with a deep growl and bark!Time

Our apartment in Cape Town was beautifully & naturally lit-we had a large bay window that brought enough light through so I didn’t even have the lights on.Equipment

Just enjoy the moment, if it catches your fancy, shoot it-take the picture for you-this is one of my favorite pictures that I hold very dear to me especially now that she had passed on.
