The Temple of Heaven is the largest temple of its kind throughout China. It was built in the year 1420 and both the Ming and Qing Dynasties used it to worship for the crops and to thank heaven for the fruits obtained. Since 1998 it is considered a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Also the brides come to the temple to their photo shootings. They are dressed in red. "Red" is an important color in weddings in China as it means love, happiness and prosperity for the couple, and today it is still used quite a lot in most traditional Chinese weddings.
