I love Scotland and was lucky enough to have two weeks in the Outer Hebrides last year. Most of the time we were there it was very showery, so I was unable to set up the tripod to do the slow shutter shots that I had planned. I decided to try and focus on close-up images, most of the images I have seen have the stones on the horizon from similar positions, I felt this classic view had been done so many times in every type on light both night and day that I wanted to find my own unique perspective.
