After a morning of constant rain, the storm had passed and it left it's residue. Water had beaded onto the leaves from our rose bush, right out in our backyard. I took a series of photographs just before the sun went down; the wind challenged me a bit, but I was able to get a sharp enough image to share this moment. This rose bush had become the center of my focus in November, and it inspired two new galleries on my portfolio: "Beauty Among Thorns" and "The Quiet Overtones". It has been quite some time since I've done personal work like this. I hope this resonates with some viewers - even though it simply appears to be a macro nature photograph... to me, it means more than just that. Years of work, bettering my craft, and refining style & aesthetics. I still have a long journey ahead of me...
