Pictured is 3 cars. left behind during an emergency evacuation. everything, including the hotel, in this area was a complete loss. A wildfire blazed through the Gatlinburg & Wears Valley (TN) area burning more than 17,000 acres, destroying more than 2,500 cabins and structures, forcing a week long evacuation, and sadly took the lives of 14 people. I captured the aftermath of this heartbreaking event, just a week and a half after the fires.
