This is the inside of a car motor, burned during a wildfire. A wildfire blazed through the Gatlinburg & Wears Valley area burning more than 17,000 acres, destroying more than 2,500 cabins and structures, forcing a week long evacuation, and sadly took the lives of 14 people. I captured the aftermath of this heartbreaking event, just a week and a half after the fires.
