We were riding our motorbikes in Portugal and went down this trail and then we stopped, and I looked around, and one us was just popping over the hill.Time
This was early afternoon with the sun high in the sky. The sharp shadows adds a lot to the photo, I think.Lighting
In colour this photo is washed out and both under and overexposed due to the harsh sun, but in black and white, the contrast works well, and results in nice silhouettes.Equipment

It was just one of those moments where we were all marvelling at the landscape, having fun on our motorbikes, and then the photo just shows up to capture that moment of freedom in nature.Editing
