We drove 5 hours from the Lofoten islands to the island of Andøya in Nordland, Norway to catch a glimpse of the predicted G2-class geomagnetic storm. We made it there just in time for sunset and after it got dark enough, the light show started. From gentle green stripes glowing slowly in the horizon, to the most epic auroras which painted the whole sky green and lasted until the sun rised again and we got to sleep in our little tent. It was a night i'll never forget.
