This image was taken while hiking in the Elgon Mountains in Eastern Uganda. I was in Uganda volunteering in medical clinics and schools, and took a hike one morning with locals from the village of Bupoto. We came across these three children staring at me and my white companions in curiosity, as we were the first mzungus, or white people, that these children had ever seen.
