The Säntis is at 2,501.9 m above sea level. The highest mountain in the Alpstein (Eastern Switzerland). Through the exposed position of the Alpstein, which is located to the north, the mountain is a landmark visible from afar. For example, in the Schwarzwald there are houses called Säntisblick. From Säntis summit you can see six different countries: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, France and Italy.
