My favorite photo of my father I have taken. He is truly one of my greatest heroes. His years are etched in his face and eyes. All the creases of the smiles and tears, furrows of deep thought, sun beat skin from years of hard work and aged by cigarette smoke, eyes looking far off are still the eyes of a vibrant youth I know existed but never saw.
