Bettmeralp is a village at the end of the famed Aletsch Glacier hike - we started at the top of Eggishorn near Fiesch, Switzerland and walked along the ridge in view of the Aletsch Glacier - at the end was a several hundred meter decent back into valleys into Bettmeralp, with this stunning view of the associated lake. A faint silhouette of the Matterhorn can be seen in the background.
