This is a night sky photo of the Grand Canyon, but what makes this photo different is the light in the canyon. This light is due to the moon behind me. The photo is over 25 minutes and allows for the movement of stars as well as the illumination of the canyon. I set my tripod and camera up about 5 feet from the edge of the canyon wall. The night was about 42 degrees and it was windy. I set the camera on 25 minutes exposure waited. I was surprised and pleased with the results.
