A scene of gold foliage is atypical for what most would imagine fall in Arizona would be like. Hidden deep in Northern Arizona, a small pocket of white-trunk trees exfoliate their golden leaves. Though my trip to visit Lockett Meadow was tardy in the season, I was able to experience the glory of the few stubborn leaves hanging in the breezes.

Ironically, I made a trip to Chicago for a dental student conference. It just so happen to fall on the same day as the festivities for the World Serie

The Inner Basin Trail through Lockett Meadows is a sight to behold. The path is lined with golden leaves that intrinsically represent fall.

A night hike up Squaw Peak will reward you with a stunning view of the Valley of the Sun.
