I was running late to meet up with a friend - driving through treacherous, snow-packed, roads when I saw this scene. Within roughly 10 seconds, I decided that the chance to capture this beautiful glimpse of nature's intricacy would well be worth my prolonged delay. I parked, walked back roughly a half mile, and attempted to record a moment in time. Upon seeing the picture(s), my friend was quite understanding.
