Location
This shot was taken off the side of the road in South Texas. The mom had twins. Over to the right of the image stands the other twin. I loved how the pair were framed in the tree. She was comforting the youngster.Time
This was taken mid-morning. We were on the way to go fishing and had to stop and watch the deer.Lighting
The lighting was natural sunlight.Equipment
I took this picture with my Nikon D3200 with my Nikor 18 by 200 lens. I've been a loyal Nikon fan since my first camera the D60.Inspiration
The animals always inspire me to take their photos. I love nature and want to preserve them in photos. I love deer and only want to shoot them with my camera lens. This image is saved in a canvas on my living room wall. All of my art displayed are my own or my sons' pictures.Editing
I usually only contrast, sharpen, and smart tone on images. I try to make the camera do the work. That way I don't have to spend time editing to capture the look I want.In my camera bag
I have upgraded to a Nikon D850. I still use my 18 by 200 lens. I have extra SD cards in my case. That is about it.Feedback
My advice to capture images you love it to just take lots of pictures. Go to places you enjoy seeing and take pictures of everything. Life goes fast. Pictures capture important memories in time. I try to always get images that make me smile. If they make me happy, they may make others happy as well. With digital photography, you will never be able to take too many pictures.
