This photo was taken in my home town of Waterford Ontario.The little lake is called Shadow Lake..you can get amazing reflection of this little beauty any time of day.Time
It was very early on a fall morning early November I believe...around 8ish...we had a heavy Fog all night so I knew I would get some good early morning shots..its one of my Honey spots.. anytime of day anytime of the year .. I can count on great reflections light and colour..and the good thing is it's only a few minutes from my house so needless to say I am always jumping out of my car snapping shots here...Lighting
I always want my photos to show what I see through my eyes, I want my photos to look like a painting, I want people to say to me.. IS THAT A PAINTING OR A PHOTO?.. that's why I am constantly chasing the light my camera in in my hand or riding shotgun on the front seat of my car all the time just waiting for that perfect timing. Just so happen to be right that day...Equipment
my good old Nikon Coolpix P610.. never use a tripod(miss too many great shots messing around with one of them) Never use a flash...just can't do it when it come to nature or landscapes..I find it too harsh...Inspiration
Every thing I see inspires me to take photos, I just wan't everyone to get to see things the way I see them..and when they turn out just that way it makes me jump in my car and take more and more.. it gives me a giant high or a comfort that I just can't put into words sometimes ...Editing
not much was done post-processing..I did use a Miniature effect on my edit program that is built in on my camera..not a PS Or LR kind of girl..In my camera bag

Know your spots..we all have favorites that we love to shoot.. go to the spot at anytime of the day so you know what to expect for light.. now I know that it depends on the day and time of year on how much light you will get..but don't be afraid to shoot because you think it might not be right.. just shoot.. you might be shocked how good it turns out even when the light is bad or very little..nature is not perfect so try not to over think it..beside if you wait till everything is perfect you miss out on so many great things..
