Skógafoss is a beautiful 60m waterfall along the southern part of Iceland. Finding the foreground locations is the easy part when aurora chasing in Iceland. The hard part is getting the clear skies and data to cooperate. Once arriving at Skógafoss there was a bunch of clouds but the aurora data was looking good enough to see something. Knowing what to look for is the key to seeing and photographing the northern lights. This is a multiple exposure image captured about 2 weeks ago.
